Bringing Film-Making Back to Denham

Denham has a rich and longstanding film-making heritage to revive. A number of the greatest British films of all time were made at Denham, including ‘Brief Encounter’, ‘Great Expectations’, ‘The Life & Death of Colonel Blimp’ and ‘A Matter of Life & Death’.

When film production ceased at Denham, it rose to prominence as a film score recording studio. It was beloved by such masters as John Williams and provided the audio for Alien, Superman and Star Wars.
